Unfortunately, that often leads to grey and dreary buildings that are a bit of an eyesore to our built environment.<\/p>\n<p>However! Living walls and green roofs can add immediate improvement. As well as providing a stunning addition to dreary buildings or unused walls and fences, green walls or vertical gardens can also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduce noise<\/li>\n<li>Reduce urban temperature<\/li>\n<li>Remove air pollutants<\/li>\n<li>Increase productivity for workers<\/li>\n<li>Improve general health and wellbeing<\/li>\n<li>Improve biodiversity<\/li>\n<li>Attenuate rainwater<\/li>\n<li>Keep buildings thermally insulated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our parent company, Biotecture, have installed many large scale projects across the UK.
