A Greener London was approached to install a living wall on the side of a residential home that would cover the entire wall. They chose the PlantBlox living wall system because of its stackable modular design and the fact that it could be restrained back to the existing brick wall without any additional structure.
The project was achieved using 100 PlantBlox and 400 plants. To create a seamless look they also integrated artificial plants (made from recycled materials) in areas of the wall where using PlantBlox was not on option. A Greener London also installed guttering to ensure excess water was diverted to the drains.
