FAQs

Delivery time and packaging

Our lead-in times are usually between 3-5 working days, but make every effort to deliver before then. Full tracking information will be sent via e-mail on day of dispatch so you can track your order from our warehouse to your front door.  We also make every effort to use as reusable, sustainable packaging as we possibly can. Our boxes are made from 100% recycled papers, and we use compostable bags inside to keep the smaller components together. Every part of our packaging is recyclable.

Which courier do you use?

We use Parcelforce, who will provide you with a text and e-mail with tracking details for your order. For larger orders, we may use Palletways, who will usually call you 30 minutes before delivery.

What kind of maintenance is required?

We recommend carrying out a quarterly check of your PlantBlox living wall, ensuring the water reservoir is topped up and, if you have one of our watering kits, whether this is working correctly. Pruning foliage in spring, summer and autumn will allow plants to continue thriving, and adding a fertiliser every 6 months would also be recommended. This can either be done through a liquid feed and pouring directly into the reservoir, or through soluable pellets directly into the compost.

Replacement Parts?

We provide replacement parts for the PlantBlox system, so please contact hello@growingrevolution.com for advice and additional information on how to order.

Can I add to my existing PlantBlox living wall?

Yes! Because PlantBlox is stackable and modular, you can keep adding to your living wall display. Or, if you decide to have a change-around, then it’s very simply to dismantle and reconfigure your PlantBloc’s in whichever way you need too.

I want a living wall but not sure how to install

Although you don’t have to be ultra DIY-savvy to install a PlantBlox wall, sometimes it might be easier to get the expertise of one of our approved landscape partners to offer a full installation and maintenance service.   Simply contact us at hello@growingrevolution.com for more information on who we have available in your area.

When should I plant my living wall?

You can plant your living wall year-round, given it’s not below 3 degrees CelsiusPlanting in sub-zero temperatures can damage the plants foliage or rootzone.

Fixings

We do not provide wall fixings with your PlantBlox order, but we have done rigorous testing on which fixings to use, depending on what you are fixing back to. Please see here for our Recommended Fixing Guide. A full third party structural analysis on the PlantBlox system is available on request. Please e-mail hello@growingrevolution.com for a copy.

Is PlantBlox suitable for all types of plants?

PlantBlox is generally suitable for a wide variety of plants. We recommend using evergreen plants for a full living wall all year round, but you can also grow seasonal flowers or even herbs or vegetables! Why not order our own carefully curated plant bundles – from a shady north-facing wall to your own herb garden, or possibly a vertical allotment!   Why not contact the team to find out more on hello@growingrevolution.com  It’s important to consider the specific needs of the plants you intend to grow, such as light requirements and root space. Some plants may thrive better in a living wall system than others.
